Nazareth Evangelical College – Second Graduation Ceremony

Nazareth Evangelical College celebrated its second graduation ceremony on Saturday September 3rd 2016. Ten students graduated (three women and seven men) from two programs: the BA in Biblical Studies and the MA in Leadership and Christian Ministries.

The college’s graduates come for various walks of life and are involved in several Christian ministries; some are church Pastor, elders, evangelists, and worship leaders. One of our graduates is a counselor at a Christian school. The chaplain of a Christian Hospital is one of our graduates as well.

The theses of our MA graduates covered a range of very interesting and contextual issues. One thesis compared the understanding of Baptism in the Evangelical churches with that of the Roman Catholic Church. Another thesis dealt with the importance of discipleship in the local Arab churches. The attitude towards Virgin Mary in the evangelical churches was the subject of research in another thesis. All these topics are challenging to the evangelical churches.

Please pray that these graduates will be able to serve God and use what they learned in a humble and effective way. We are very proud of each one of them and believe that they can empower the ministries they are involved in.
